Most current, savings or credit card account of participating banks can be used to make DirectDebit payments (Debit card is not accepted).
You only need to ensure is enough money in your account every time the payment is due. To help you, the Biller you're paying may let you know in advance the collection dates and amounts due.
Yes. A fixed date is set in the system even if the payment is made every month, every three months or every year. If the payment date falls on the weekend or on a bank holiday, the Biller will deduct the money from your bank account just after that due date unless they inform you in advance.
If you need to change the DirectDebit Authorisation details, simply complete a new DirectDebit Authorisation Form (DDA Form) which is available from your Biller. On the form, you will find the ‘Type of Application’ field; and choose ‘Maintenance’.

You may also do the changes via e-Mandate
If you need to cancel a DirectDebit Authorisation, simply complete a new DirectDebit Authorisation Form (DDA Form) which is available from your Biller. On the form, you will find the ‘Type of Application’ field; and choose ‘Termination’.

You may also do termination via e-Mandate
No. The Biller would have to get your authorisation to reinstate a cancelled instruction.
Biller is a merchant / company / organization / government agency that initiates the DirectDebit transactions and receives payment from its customer via Direct Debit.
